Obituary

GLOUCESTER: Donald R. LeClaire, 50, died at his residence Saturday, December 29, 2007 following an extended illness.
Born in Beverly on May 15, 1957, he was the son of Phyllis (Lisaj) LeClaire of Gloucester and the late Edward J. “Buzzy” LeClaire. He had resided in Gloucester since the age of twelve and had attended Gloucester public schools. A carpenter by trade, he had worked for numerous companies on the North Shore.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Danielle and Phillip Osier, two sons, Joshua LeClaire, fiancé of Ashley Tibert and Bryan LeClaire, fiancé of Stefanie Goulart, a grandson, Tyler J. LeClaire, his sister and brother-in-law, Michelle and Richard Naves, a brother and two sisters-in-law, James and Susan LeClaire and Sandra LeClaire, his former spouse, Paula Stanton, his goddaughter, Rachael Naves and many nieces, nephews and friends, including his longtime friend, David Thompson. He was also predeceased by his brother Edward C. LeClaire.
His funeral service will be held on Friday afternoon in the Pike-Grondin Funeral Home, 61 Middle Street, Gloucester at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the family. Interment will be held privately
