Georgette (Simon) Fuchs, 94, of Lakeville, formerly of New Bedford, died Tuesday January 21, 2003 at Morton Hospital in Taunton. She was the wife of the late Peter Fuchs.
Born in Hericourt, France, the daughter of the late Eugene and Anna (Eppelin) Simon, she lived in New Bedford since 1924.
She was a communicant of Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, and a former communicant of St. Boniface Church.
Mrs. Fuchs was a member of the Workmen's Benefit Fund.
Survivors include a son, Peter E. Fuchs of Brockton; a daughter, Monica A. Lowell of Carver; 5 grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday January 24, 2003 at 10 AM in Holy Name of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Visiting hours will be private.
