Omer Glaude 96, of 547 Clinton St. died Friday in Landmark Medical Center. He was the husband of the late Beatrice (Pouliot) Glaude. Mr. Glaude was born in Woonsocket a son of the late Ovila and Virgene (Beausoleil) Glaude. Mr. Glaude was a textile worker for the Rochambeau Worsted for many years retiring in 1973. One of his favorite pastimes was playing horseshoes at Kennedy Manor.
Mr. Glaude is survived by a son Roland E. Glaude of Woonsocket, a brother Armand Glaude of Manville, two grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Friday at 9:00 am. from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 99 Cumberland St. Woonsocket with a service at 10:00 am. in St. Jean Baptiste Cemetery Chapel. Burial to follow immediately after service. Visiting hours are Thursday 6-8 pm.
