Mrs. Engracia (Zuluaga) Sandefur of Andover, most recently of Merrimac, beloved wife of the late Roy J. Sandefur, died Thursday, December 27, 2007, at the County Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Newburyport. She was 79 years old.
Born in Legaspi Aibay Philippines on April 16, 1928, she was the loving daughter of the late Modesto and Maria Zuluaga. Mrs. Sandefur was a long time communicant of St. Augustine Church of Andover.
She will be sorely missed by five sons and four daughters-in-law; Michael and his wife Vickie Sandefur of Austin, Texas, John and his wife Carmen Sandefur of Los Almos, New Mexico, Marc Sandefur of Westford, Patrick and his wife Lori Sandefur of Burlington, Connecticut and David and his wife Blu of Altadona, California, two daughters and one son-in-law; Maria Svensson of Wilmington and Cynthia and her husband Peter Murphy of Byfield, one brother; Raymond Zuluaga of the Philippines, ten grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral mass was celebrated in St. Augustine Church, 43 Essex Street, Andover, Monday, December 31, 2007, at 10:30 AM. Relatives and friends were respectfully invited to attend. Burial was in Spring Grove Cemetery, Andover.
