Frank Stahlkuppe, 90, of Hiawassee died Thursday, December 27, at the Chatuge Regional Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, December 30, at the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Hiawassee. Graveside services will be held at 11 A.M. Saturday, January 5, in the Brushy Creek Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Irwin County, Georgia.
Mr. Stahlkuppe was born May 20, 1917 in Cherokee County, North Carolina to the late Charlie and Ella Hall Stahlkuppe. He was a retired salesman for the trucking industry and a gunsmith. He was a member of the Presbyterian Faith and a veteran of the U. S. Army during World War II.
Mr. Stahlkuppe is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Dr. Robert F. and Cheryl Stahlkuppe; daughters and son-in-law: Carol and Bob Moffit and Ellen Stahalkuppe all of Hiwassee; grandson: Miles Moffit of Athens; one sister: Arralu Russell of Alpharetta and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Stahlkuppe was preceded in death by his wife Rose Smith Stahlkuppe.
