Waycross- Mr. Faaagi “Frank” Saini, age 63, died Wednesday, December 26, 2007 at Memorial Health in Savannah after an extended illness. He was a native of Samoa living the past 12 years in Waycross. He retired from the United States Army with 20 years of service and was an employee at the Wal-Mart Distribution Center in Douglas the past 11 years. He attended the University Boulevard Church of God in Waycross.
Surviving is his wife: Dawn R. Brissel Saini of Waycross; two daughters: Cierah Pepesina Saini of Waycross and Susie F. Saini of Hawaii; two sons: Papani Faagi Saini of Waycross and John F. Saini of Hawaii; five sisters: Mekione Samota of San Bernardino Calif., Meleke Forsythe of American Samoa, Violeta Aga Of Honolulu, Hawaii, Pepesina Tofili of American Somoa, and Miliami Heka of New Zealand; one brother: Beniamina Saini of San Bernardino, Calif.; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
Visitation will be held Monday, December 31, 2007 from the NeSmith Room of Howard~Jones~ Nobles Funeral Home from 6 until 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 5, 2008 at 2 p.m. from the University Boulevard Church of God in Waycross with Reverend Franklin Peacock officiating.
Interment will follow in the Pinecrest Memorial Cemetery in Jesup with full military honors.
