Helen S. Holm, 89, of Windham, NH, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 25, 2007 after a short illness in Parkland Medical Center. Mrs. Holm was born in Hudson, NH on December 4, 1918, a daughter of the late Herbert D. Smith and Blanche M. Greeley. A loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Mrs. Holm was a friend to all she met.
She is survived by four daughters, Nan H. Case of Bethel Park, PA, Hazel L. Gates of Kingman, AZ, Mary Lou Sevigny of Thomasville, GA, Linda H. Bouley of Tilton, NH; son, Wayne K. Holm of Windham, NH; brother, Harold D. Smith of Hudson, NH; sister, Marjorie J. Clark of Thomasville, GA; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Kenneth Holm in 1982, a son Thomas S. Holm in 1960, a daughter Marjorie M. Malpiedi in 2001 and her three loving sisters.
Calling hours were held Sunday, December 30, 2007 from 2 to 5pm at the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry, NH. Funeral services were held on Monday, December 31, 2007 at 10:00 AM in the funeral home. Interment followed in the Cemetery on the Plains, Windham. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
