Obituary

James F. “Jimmy” Beane, 66, of Logee St., Woonsocket, died Friday at home. He was the husband for 44 years of Shirley V. (Spencer) Beane.
Born in Woonsocket, he was a son of the late George and Cecile (Berry) Beane. He lived most of his life in Woonsocket and ten years in Burrillville.
Mr. Beane was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps. He was very proud of his service to his country, and lived his life by the Marine Corps. Motto, “Semper Fi”.
Mr. Beane worked for the Brown & Sharp Co. for many years. He was a member of the VFW and DAV. Jimmy enjoyed riding motorcycles, bowling and fishing.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Steven Thifault, of Woonsocket, four daughters, JoAnn Allard, and Sheryl Kreig, both of Woonsocket, Donna Conley, of Burrillville, and Dawn Beane, of CT. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
His funeral will be held Saturday at 9:00 am from the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home, 463 South Main St., Woonsocket, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am in St. Theresa’s Church, Rathbun St., Blackstone. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Blackstone. Visiting hours are Friday from 2-4 & 6-8 pm.
