Noel William Peacock, age 61 of Derma, MS died Sunday, December 23, 2007 at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. Noel was born March 5, 1946 in Charleston, MS to the late Frances Godwin and John William Peacock. He was a retired truck driver for Yellow Freight and was a member of Derma Baptist Church of Derma, MS. Noel was an avid camper, and enjoyed golfing as a pastime.
The visitation will be held Thursday, December 27, 2007 at Seven Oaks Funeral Home in Water Valley, MS from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held Friday, December 28, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Derma Baptist Church in Derma, MS with Dr. John Warren and Rev. Hal Clark officiating. The committal service will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery in Calhoun City, MS.
Mr. Peacock is survived by his wife, Margie Watson Peacock of Derma, MS; a daughter, Natalie Peacock Fleming of Derma, MS; one son, David William Peacock of Olive Branch, MS; and 3 grandchildren.
