Tazmyn Soares, 18, of New Bedford died Friday December 21, 2007 unexpectedly in Boston.
Born in Fall River, the son of Elisa (Smith) Soares of New Bedford and Richard Garcia of Everett, he lived in New Bedford and Dorchester for many years.
Tazmyn was a recording artist in the music industry.
Survivors include his parents; his siblings, Timothy Soares and Tay'le Rudolph, both of New Bedford, Tynisha Soares of Van Nuys, CA, and Khari Garcia of Everett; his grandparents, Paula Akins of Roxbury, Helen DeMarco and Arthur Smith, both of Fall River; two nieces, Nairah and Nyrea Soares; and aunts, uncles, and cousins.
His Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 11 AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford. Visiting hours Thursday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Interment Pine Grove Cemetery. For directions and guestbook, please visit www.saundersdwyer.com.
