Jeanette D. Comtois, 90, of Salem, NH, died Monday, December 24, 2007 in the Holy Family Hospital in Methuen, MA. Mrs. Comtois was born in Lawrence, MA on September 19, 1917, a daughter of the late George F. and Rose (Duhamel) Cyr. She formerly lived in Londonderry, NH and Windham, NH for many years. She was an avid reader, loved movies and music, and enjoyed doing crafts.
She is survived by three sons, Robert E. Comtois and his wife Joanne, Ronald G. Comtois and his wife Susan, and Richard M. Comtois and his wife Kathleen, all of Windham; two daughters, Pauline C. Gould and her husband Kenneth of Rochester, NH, and Jane A. White and her husband Robert of Salem; 18 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert J. Comtois in 1993 and her daughter Anne E. Wickman in 1996.
Calling hours were held on Thursday, December 27th from 5 - 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry. A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated on Friday at 9:30am in St. Matthews Church, Searles Rd., Windham. The burial was in the Sacred Heart Cemetery in Andover, MA.
