Margaret (Miraglia) DiFranza, died Saturday at Lexington Health Care Center. She was 91.
Margaret was born in Boston and graduated from Everett Schools. She lived in Everett for many years before moving to Medford 50 years ago. She worked as a stitcher. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother who loved to sew, cook and care for her family and friends.
She was the beloved wife of the late Michael DiFranza. She was a devoted mother to Gabriel DiFranza and Joanne DiFranza both of Medford, Maria Gore and her husband Richard of Wilmington. She was a loving grandmother to Michael and Joseph Gore. She was the sister of the late Theresa Micciche, Joseph, Angelo and Raffaela Miraglia. She also leaves many loving nieces and nephews.
Her Funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Wednesday at 12:30 pm followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford/Somerville, at 1 pm. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family prior to the service Wednesday morning from 11am to 12:30pm. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
