Methuen, Ma. – Stephanie K. Melnicki, 89, dear sister and loving aunt passed away peacefully at her home with family by her side December 21, 2007.
Born in Lawrence, daughter of Andrew and Pauline (Solmon) Melnicki
she was educated in Methuen where she had been a lifelong resident. Miss Melnicki had been employed at CBS Hytron and before retiring and for 25 years worked as an assembler for Western Electric of North Andover.
Stephanie had been an active communicant of Saint Lucy Parish and their Virgin Mary Sodality. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, and enjoyed sewing, cooking, reading, music, and enjoyed playing the harmonica.
Survivors include brothers; Andrew, of Methuen, Leo & his wife Harriet of Sharon, NH, & sisters Mary Alosky of Salem, NH, Helen & husband Thomas E. Ralph of Loudon, Tennessee, her niece and caregiver Mary Ann & her husband Judson Bell of Salem, NH, 13 nieces and nephews, and 40 grandnieces and nephews.
Stephanie was predeceased by brothers John, Walter, Maurice,and sister Olga Andrews.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday morning at 10 o’clock in Saint Lucy Parish Methuen with entombment to follow in Saint Mary-Immaculate Conception Mausoleum.
Friends may call on Wednesday from 2-5 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
