Ruth Bennett Lougee, 91 of Fullerton, California passed away on Thursday, December 20, 2007 at home at age 91. She was the widow of Raymond E. Lougee.
She was born and raised in Franklin where she resided with her husband and family until 1983 when they moved to California. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Ethel Bennett of Franklin.
She is survived by her devoted daughter and son in law, Roberta and Patrick Quinlan of Fullerton, CA and loving granddaughters, Melissa and Beth Quinlan with whom she lived. She leaves her daughters, Janet O'Hara of Nashville, TN, and Lois Kane of Fairhaven.
She is survived by grandsons, Raymond and Joseph Milano, David Cook, three great grandchildren, Charity Cook, Jessica and Maria Milano.
She leaves one sister, Rachel J. Bloomfield of Concord, NH and Jensen Beach, FL, and was the surviving sister of Dr. Robert Bennett of Worcester, MA and Richard Bennett of Wellesley MA.
She was a long time member of the Franklin Country Club, Federated Church of Franklin, the Alden Club and the Pond Home Association.
Memorial Services will be held on Friday, January 18 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St., Franklin at 11:00 a.m.
Burial will be private at Union Street Cemetery in Franklin.
