Deborah Gorham-Mauzy, 74, of Derry, NH, died Saturday, December 22, 2007 in the Elliot Hospital in Manchester, NH. Deborah was born in Beverly, MA on January 4, 1933, a daughter of the late Austin C. and Dorothy (McCarron) Gorham. She was a lifelong resident of Derry, and had attended Pinkerton Academy. Deborah had been employed for Almys and Kmart. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, and enjoyed knitting, going on cruises, and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 58 years, George R. Mauzy, Sr. of Derry; three sons, Stephen M. Mauzy of Derry, Van S. Mauzy of Mokelumne Hill, CA, and George R. Mauzy, Jr. of Allentown, PA; four daughters, Michelle D. Estey of Holiday, FL, Deborah L. Holm of Allentown, PA, Cami E. Sumner of Epsom, NH, and Diedre Dumont of Nashua, NH; seven grandchildren; three great grandchildren; one brother, Robert L. Gorham of Derry; as well as several nieces, nephews and one cousin. She was predeceased by her son, Mark R. Mauzy in October 2007.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
