Josephine A. Pepicelli, 74 of Medford, died Friday after a brief illness in the Courtyard Nursing Care Center, Medford, MA.
Born in Boston, MA, she lived in Medford for 44 years and formerly of the North End of Boston. Josephine was a sales clerk at her father’s bakery A. Buccieri and Sons in the North End of Boston from the late 40’s to 1956. She also was a hostess at the former Bickford’s Restaurant in Wellington Circle in the early 80’s. Josephine was President of the Resident Council at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center and was Chief Fundraiser for various charities at the nursing center.
Beloved wife of the late Pellegrino Pepicelli. Devoted mother of Joseph Pepicelli and his wife Monica of Littleton, William Pepicelli and his wife Mary of Stoneham, Maria Garofalo and her husband Anthony of Tewksbury. Loving grandmother of Jason, Natalia, Anthony and Marissa. Cherished daughter of Angelina (Pio) of Medford and the late Anthony Buccieri. Sister of Annmarie Arsenault, Alexander Buccieri both of Medford and the late James, John, and Anthony Buccieri. Funeral from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., MEDFORD Monday at 8 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Clement Church, 71 Warner St., Medford, at 9 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Sunday 2-4 & 7-9. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
