Dorothy L. (Zaiser) Stone, 88, died at the Caritas Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton on Friday, December 21. She was the wife of the late Oscar F. Stone. Born in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton schools and Forsyth Dental School in Boston. Mrs. Stone was a lifelong resident of Stoughton before moving to Brockton 4 years ago. She worked as a Dental Hygienist for various dental offices in the area, finishing her career at R. Hansen Dental in Brockton over 30 years ago and she was also a homemaker to her family throughout her career. She was a member of the Stoughton Women’s Club and the First Congregational Church in Stoughton for many years. In her free time she enjoyed knitting, crossword puzzles and crafts.
She is survived by her son-in-law, Harry Switzer of Providence, RI, her godson, Keith G. Ross of Middleboro, her sister-in-law, Shirley Eliason of Stoughton and her dear friend, Janice Ross of W. Bridgewater. She is also survived by several cousins. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Carol Switzer and her sister, Helen Erickson.
