Florina Lagace, 107, of Rhodes Ave., North Smithfield, formerly of Waterview Apts., Woonsocket, died Thursday at St. Antoine Residence. She was the wife of the late Joseph Lagace, and the late Arsne Lepage.
Born in St. Gabrielle de Brandon, Quebec, Canada, she was a daughter of the late Hyacinthe and Roseanna (Lagace) Desjardins. She came to the U.S. as a child and was a lifelong resident of Woonsocket.
Mrs. Lagace worked for several mills in the Woonsocket area, and Collamati’s Market, for many years before her retirement. She was a former member of the Waterview Apts. Association.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Claudette Moore, Madeleine Artabacy, and Martha Patanode, and several great-nieces and great-nephews. She was the sister of the late Calixte, Omer, Adolphe, and Henri Desjardins, Emma St. Germian, Lydia Wante, and Albertine Tellier. She was also predeceased by several other siblings.
Funeral services and burial are private. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. A Memorial Mass will be held in the spring.
