Patricia A. McGonagle, 55 of Wayland, formerly of Burlington and Medford, passed away at home on December 18th, 2007 after a lengthy illness. She was raised in Medford, attending Medford Public Schools. Patti is a graduate of the former Girls Catholic High School in Malden. She received her degree in education from Salem State College and later earned her Masters Degree from Lesley College. She has been a teacher at the Carroll School in Lincoln for over 12 years. Patricia is survived by her husband Michael D. McGonagle; her children Dennis McGonagle of Everett, Karen McGonagle of Marblehead and Timothy McGonagle of New York City; her father William Johnston of Woburn; her sister Anne Marie Jenkins of Camden, NH; her brother Paul Johnston and his wife Roxie of Derry, NH; her mother-in-law and father-in-law Mary and Daniel McGonagle of Charlestown; and her sister-in-law Teresa McGonagle of Charlestown. She is also survived by several nephews and many cousins. Patricia was predeceased by her mother Marion Johnston. Funeral from the A.J. Breslin & Son Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Friday December 21st at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Medford at 10 AM. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Thursday December 20th from 4-8 PM. Services on Friday will conclude with interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
