Obituary

Attorney Arthur J. DeFusco, of Andover and beloved husband of Tina A. (Pitocchelli) DeFusco, died at the Lawrence General Hospital in Lawrence on Thursday, December 13, 2007. He was 89 years old.
Born in Lawrence on October 1, 1918, he was a beloved son of the late Ernest and Giovanna (Ragosta) DeFusco. Mr. DeFusco was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Boston University School of Business and Boston University School of Law. He was an attorney in greater Lawrence for more than 60 years and was a member of the Lawrence Bar Association and the Massachusetts Bar Association, as well as the Lawrence Musicians Union. Mr. DeFusco entered the US Army from Lawrence, Massachusetts, on February 9, 1942 and was honorably discharged from Fort Lewis Washington on December 31, 1945. While in the service, he was a marksman with the M-1 Rifle. Mr. DeFusco was awarded the African Theater Service Medal, the Good Conduct Medal and the Victory Medal for his service in the Army.
Besides his loving wife, Tina, Arthur will be sorely missed by his daughter; Norma (DeFusco) King of Andover, son; Atty: AJ DeFusco II of Andover and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Adeline Barrelli.
