Louise D. Lamble, 83, of Thomson, died Tuesday, December 18, 2007 at McDuffie Regional Hospital in Thomson, Georgia.
Graveside services will be held 4 P.M. Thursday, December 20, in the Irwinville Cemetery, Irwinville, Georgia with Rev. Huey Nichols officiating. Visitation will be held from 12 until 3 Thursday before the funeral at the funeral home in Ocilla.
Mrs. Lamble was born September 1, 1924 in Evansville, Indiana to the late Floyd and Margaret McIntosh Daugherty. She lived in Thomson since 1975 from Evansville, IN. Mrs. Lamble was a homemaker and of the Catholic faith.
Mrs. Lamble is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Sue & Johnny Hancock of Irwinville and Dena Gerkitz of Augusta; sons and daughters-in-law, Joe & Loretta Lamble of Riverview, FL, Tony & Debbie Lamble of Frankford, IL and Andy & Christie Lamble of Peru, IN; 18 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Celestine A. “Chris” Lamble, 2 daughters, 1 son, 1 grandson, 1 brother and 1 sister.
