Rita K. McPeck, 86 years, of West Bridgewater, formerly of Brockton, died Saturday December 15, 2007 at New England Sinai Hospital after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Boston, daughter of the late James A. and Helen V. (McCarthy) McPeck, she was a graduate of Jeremiah E. Burke High School for Girls. She had been employed for many years as a silk screener for a local bookbinding company. She had been a resident of Brockton for over 30 years and a resident of Matfield Woods in W. Bridgewater for the past four years. Rita enjoyed art, painting with water colors and was known for her great sense of humor.
She is survived by her brother George A. McPeck and his wife Dorothy of Middleboro and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister of the late Albert “Bud”, Raymond and Robert McPeck.
Funeral from Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton Thursday at 8am. Funeral Mass in Our Lady of Lourdes Church at 9am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 8 - 8:45am.
