Worcester - John A. Richard, 38, of 27 Blaine Ave. died Wednesday January 15 in his home.
He leaves his wife of 10 years Cindy L. (Gomes) Richard of Worcester; a son Sean S. Richard of Worcester; two daughters Heather L. Richard of Pompano Beach, FL and Kim Agustinilli of Worcester; his parents Edward and Patricia (Colby) Richard both of Worcester; a brother David Richard of Maine; three sisters Lynda Richard, Tina Wills and Lisa Richards all of Worcester; three nieces Faith Richard, Sonya Richard and Jessica Richards; a nephew Nathaniel Wills and many aunts and uncles.
Mr. Richard was born in Worcester attended South High School and was a past member of the United States Army Reserves.
He worked as a computer technician for EMC Corporation.
He was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church where he was involved in the liturgical committee, the cub scouts and family life. He loved music, hiking and creative artistry. Mr. Richard also served on the board of the Massachusetts Homeless Veterans Shelter.
The funeral will be held on Tuesday January 21 from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home (www.Royfuneral.com) 12 Hammond St. with a mass at 10 AM in St. Charles Borromeo Church 341 June St.. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Calling hours are on Monday January 20 from 6 to 8 PM in the funeral home.
