Obituary

WORCESTER____Beatrice M. (Foshay) Berry, 70, of Lafayette Place, 2 Lafayette Street, died Thursday December 13 in St. Vincent Hospital 123 Summer Street.

She leaves a daughter, Kathy T. Wheeler of Dudley; two sons, Stephen K. Polissack of Gardner and David M. Polissack of Worcester; her husband, Louis M. Berry, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her brother, Stanley Foshay, Jr. She was born in Worcester, a daughter of Stanley and Beda (Bernston) Foshay and lived here all her life.

Beatrice was a 1957 graduate of Commerce High School and graduated from Quinsigamond Community College in 1982 as an Occupational Therapist. She was a volunteer greeter at St. Vincent Hospital, was a member of Genesis Club and a member and secretary of the residents group at Lafayette Place.

Beatrice was a U.S. Navy veteran.

Calling hours in HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, are Tuesday December 18 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 7:30 p.m. during calling hours. Burial will be private in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Flowers may be sent or memorial contributions may be made to Massachusetts Veterans, Inc. 69 Grove Street, Worcester, MA., 01605.
