Mildred Davenport Clark Mildred Davenport Clark, 88, Clarksville, died Friday, Dec 14, 2007, at Alterra Sterling House. The funeral will be held at 10 am Tuesday at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Minister Geoffrey Sikes officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 pm Monday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born October 24, 1919 in Montgomery County daughter of the late Buck Davenport and Missouri Price Davenport. Ms. Clark was retired from Clarksville Gas & Water and was a member of Madison Street Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Horace Wayne Clark, brothers Howard and Charlie Davenport, and sisters Ruby Davis, Pauline Hancock, Bessie Putman, Lucile Conroy, and Grace Provo. Survivors include her son Jerry W. Clark and wife Anne, Clarksville; two grandchildren, John Clark and wife Christina and Ben Clark and fiancee Annie Ripper; and two great-grandchildren, Maggie and Molly Clark.
