Lora Olivia Abney Clardy Lora Olivia Abney Clardy, 96, Clarksville, died Friday, December 14, 2007, at Spring Meadows Nursing Home. A memorial service will be held at 2 pm Saturday, January 5, 2008 at Neal-Tarpley Chapel with Rev. Ken Wallace and Rev. Don Sensing officiating. Visitation will be from 12 to 2 pm Saturday at the funeral home. Neal-Tarpley Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born February 6, 1911 in Stewart County daughter of the late Will Abney and Leona Shepherd Abney. She was a retired food service manager with the Montgomery County School System and was a member of Sango United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Grady Clardy, and sisters, Bessie Parchman, Flossie Martin, Juanita Hatley, and Lois Ezell. Survivors include a daughter, Sherrie Goorley (John), Pueblo, Colorado; grandchildren Elizabeth Goorley, Plantation FL and John Timothy Goorley (Keri), Santa Fe, NM; great-grandchildren, Sean Ramsey and one on the way.
