Edward T. “Bucky” Mullen, Jr., 64, died, Thursday December 13th in the Jordan Hospital, Plymouth, after a brief illness. He was the husband of Carol (Davidson) Mullen.
Born and brought up in Boston, he was the son of the late Edward T. and Doris E. (Hawkins) Mullen.
Bucky was a veteran of the United States Air Force, he served in the Vietnam War from 1962-1966.
He was a Heating and Air Conditioning sub contractor for Designs Systems in Middleboro.
Bucky was a member of the Plymouth Lodge Elks, Members of Harley’s Club and the BMW bikers club out of Braintree.
He enjoyed helping at Christmas time collecting donated toys for Toys for Tots.
He is survived by his wife Carol, of Plymouth, his son, James H. Mullen of New Jersey, his daughter, Kristeen E. Cole of Whitman, his sister, Cathy Kelly of Hyde Park, also his 5 grandchildren, Krystal (Mullen) Clark, Zachary White, Bryan White, James Mullen, Jr., and Candy Diamond Rose Mullen, several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of many late siblings.
His funeral services will be held Wednesday December 19th at 10:30 A.M. in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth St.(RT. 58 at the rotary circle ) Whitman, MA. Burial will be at a later date. Visiting hours will be Tuesday December 18th 2-4 & 7-9. Donation may be made to Toys for Tots, C/O Children’s Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave, Boston, MA. 02115.
