William Henry “Hank” Bryant, Jr., 52, of Fitzgerald, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at Tift Regional Medical Center in Tifton.
Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, December 15, at the Central United Methodist Church with Rev. Blane Jacobs officiating. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 7 until 9 Friday evening at the funeral home.
Mr. Bryant was born September 8, 1955 in Fitzgerald to the late William Henry and Evelyn Boynton Bryant. He lived in the community all of his life, graduating from Fitzgerald High School in 1974. Mr. Bryant was a machinist with ExoPack Industries in Tifton for 30 years and received his degree in drafting and machine shop from East Central Technical College. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. Mr. Bryant loved to fish and hunt and was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather.
He is survived by his wife, Lynn Britt Bryant of Fitzgerald; daughter & son-in-law, Brittney & Chad Giddens of Fitzgerald; son, William Henry “Will” Bryant, III of Albany; granddaughter, Brilynn S. Giddens of Fitzgerald and one grandson, Cy Giddens; sister, Marianne Barrs of Dawsonville. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Kay Willcox.
