TEWKSBURY: Mary M. (Teras) Regina, age 90, a resident of Tewksbury for the past 10 years, died Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at the Lawrence General Hospital.
She was the wife of Stephen Regina, who died July 14, 1997.
Born in Portland, Maine on July 15, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Ludwik and Patricia (Yermak) Teras.
Mary was raised in Portland, ME. She attended Portland schools and graduated from Portland High School in 1935.
Prior to her retirement in 1979, she was employed by the Maremont Corporation of Saco, ME, where she worked for over 30 years.
Mrs. Regina resided in Hudson, NH and Saco, ME until moving to Tewksbury in 1997.
According to her family, she loved family gatherings and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughter, Stephanie M. Ogden of Tewksbury; her sister, Edith Pracuta of New Jersey; two grandsons, Stephen T. Ogden and his wife Patricia of Dover, NH and Thomas D. Ogden and his wife Tracey of Tewksbury; three great grandchildren, Matthew Ogden of Dover, NH and Samantha and Amanda Ogden both of Tewksbury; several nieces and nephews including, Patricia and Joseph Beatty of Sewell, NJ, John and Joyce Pracuta of Wolfeboro, NH, Barbara and Steve Barron of Tampa, FL and Frank and Nancy Teras of Portland, ME.
Mrs. Regina was the mother-in-law of the late Thomas J. Ogden, who died December 5, 2005.
Calling hours will be held Friday, December 14th, from 5- 7 p.m., at the Farmer & Dee Funeral Home, 16 Lee St., Tewksbury, immediately followed by a prayer service to be held at the funeral home. Interment will be held at a later date at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Biddeford, ME. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to Merrimack Valley Hospice, 360 Merrimack St., # 9, Lawrence, MA 01843 are suggested.
