Nora R. Boissonneau, 92, passed away on December 11th, 2007 at the Lawrence General Hospital. She was born on January 19th, 1915 to her parents Angelo and Vincenza (Tiberi) Saccocia. Nora was raised and educated in Bridgewater. She has been a resident of Malden for over 70 years and has been a parishioner at Immaculate Conception Parish in Malden where she was a member of the “60 Club” and a former member of the Ladies Sodality. She was the wife of the late Roland J. Boissonneau, retired Malden Police Officer; the mother of Alyce Galiano and her husband James of North Andover; the grandmother of Diane Galiano of Sugarland, TX and Elizabeth Galiano of New York City; the sister of James Saccocia of Cumberland, RI, Evelyn Dee of New Bedford, Catherine Browne of Marion and the late Elizabeth Alice Dinnano, Frances Gardner, Rose Savage and John, Albert and Ettore “Red” Saccocia. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden on Saturday December 15th at 9 AM followed by interment in Forest Dale Cemetery in Malden. Relatives & friends are invited to attend. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Friday December 14th from 3-7 PM.
