Alfred L. DeLisle, 91 formerly of Hampstead, NH died December 11, 2007 in the Colonial Poplin Nursing Home, Fremont, NH. Mr. DeLisle was born in Haverhill, MA on May 1, 1916 the son of the late Lorenzo and Angelina (Dufresne) DeLisle. He was a graduate of Groveland High School in Groveland, MA and received an Associates Degree from Wentworth Institute in Boston, MA. Mr. DeLisle served as Master Sergeant with the US Air Force 95th Bomb Group in Horham, England during WWII. He was employed as an engineer for AT & T in North Andover, MA. He was an active golfer, winning the Merrimack Valley Golf Tournament two times with his golf partner. He also enjoyed bowling.
He is survived by his son, Alfred J. DeLisle and his wife Thyra of E. Hampstead, three grandchildren, Andrew DeLisle, James Newell and Cindy Beatie, also five great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia E. (Small) DeLisle in 2006.
Following cremation, there are no services scheduled. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling arrangements.
