Obituary

Leicester- Antoinette B. (Musnicki) Baron, 89, of 1075 Main Street, died Wednesday, Jan. 15, in Brigham & Women's Hospital, Boston, after she was stricken ill at home Friday.

Her husband, Joseph J. Baron, died in 1985. She leaves seven children, Carol J. Dievendorf of Fulton, NY, Kenneth J. Baron of Worcester, Robert J. Baron of Sun City, AZ, Barbara A. Collette of Rochdale, Cynthia D. Fenner of Douglas, Susan M. Baron of Pheonix, and Deborah J. Mendoza of Worcester; 22 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren; nephews and nieces; grandnephews and grandnieces. A son, Richard I. Baron of Nashua, died in 2001. A brother, Stanley Musnicki, and three sisters, Albina Musnicki, Sally Musnicki, and Malvina Garriepy, predeceased her. A gandson, Cory Jewett, also predeceased her. She was born in Worcester, daughter of Michael and Jzidora (Baturaska) Musnicki and lived there most of her life before moving here. She graduated from St. Mary's High School.

Mrs. Baron was a dresser and tender for Lusignan Textile Company for many years, retiring in 1980.

She was a member of the Craftee Grannies of the Leicester Housing Authority and a former member of St. Casimir's Catholic Parish, Worcester.

She enjoyed knitting and crocheting, bingo, and especially the Red Sox. She always said not to cry for her, as she had a wonderful life.

The funeral will be held Saturday, Jan. 18, from Henry-Dirsa Funeral Home (www.worcesterfuneral.com), 33 Ward Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 10:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours are from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Brigham & Women's Hospital, Neuro-Intensive Care Unit, 116 Huntington Avenue, 5th floor, Boston, MA 02116.
