LOWELL- James O. Craven, 73 years old, a lifelong resident of Lowell, died Sunday, December 9th, at Saints Medical Center.
He was born in Lowell, on May 3, 1934, a son of the late Frank J. and Agnes J. (McKennedy) Craven, and was educated in the Lowell Public Schools.
For many years, Mr. Craven was employed as a Group Leader for Wang Laboratories, in Lowell, at Cross Point. He retired in the early 1990’s.
Surviving him are two sons: James M. Craven, of Lowell; and John F. Craven, of Derry, NH; a brother: Gerald Craven, and his wife Pauline, of Chelmsford; a sister-in-law: Ann Craven, of Lowell; and several nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Francis, John, Joseph, and George Craven.
Friends may call from 4 to 7 PM on Thursday, December 13th at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38), Lowell. His Funeral Service to be held on Friday, December 14th, at 10 AM at the funeral home. Burial in St. Patrick Cemetery, Lowell.
