DUDLEY – Julia C. (Wojtas) Hajec, 92, formerly of Elizabeth Street, died Friday, November 30, in Oakwood Rehabilitation & Nursing Center. Her husband, Thaddeus S. Hajec, died in 1987.
She leaves a daughter, Joan R. Wilson and her husband Russell of North Port, FL; a son, David P. Hajec and his wife Oreen of Shirley; 3 grandsons, Robert Wilson, Christopher Hajec and Todd Hajec; 2 sisters, Sylvia Seney of Dudley and Joan Gilley of Webster; nieces and nephews.
She was born and raised in Webster, a daughter of Frank and Elenora (Borkowski) Wojtas, and lived in Dudley most of her adult life.
Mrs. Hajec was an inspector at Cranston Print Works Company in Webster for several years before retiring in 1980. She was a member of St. Andrew Bobola Church.
A memorial Mass will be held Saturday, December 22, at 10:00 AM in Saint Andrew Bobola Church, 54 West Main Street. Burial will be in Saint Joseph Garden of Peace, Webster. There are no calling hours. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School Street, Webster.
