Mary E. Watrous, age 89, of Mystic, passed away Tuesday, December 11th, at Mystic Manor.
She was married to Cornelius B. Watrous of Ledyard, who passed away October 1, 1997.
Mary is survived by her two sons, Steve and Barry Watrous of Ledyard; three daughters, Deborah Sherwood of Niantic; Marlene Cunningham of Tulsa, OK, and Mary Sheckler of Raleigh, NC. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; as well as her sister and two brothers. Mary was loved by all who knew her, and she will be greatly missed.
Her family will greet relatives and friends at The Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, Historic downtown Mystic on Thursday from 5-7pm. Her funeral service will be conducted at Groton Heights Baptist Church, 73 Broad Street, Groton on Friday at 11am.
