Angeline (Carando) Castellina, 94, of Dartmouth, formerly of New Bedford, died Sunday December 9, 2007 at Sunrise Assisted Living of Dartmouth. She was the wife of the late Joseph Castellina.
Born in New Bedford, the daughter of the late Peter and Teresa (Bollea) Carando, she lived in New Bedford most of her life before moving to Dartmouth two years ago.
She was a communicant of St. Francis of Assisi Church, where she was a former member of the Ladies Guild.
Mrs. Castellina was formerly employed by John I. Paulding Company for many years until her retirement.
Survivors include a brother, Joseph Carando of Annnapolis, MD.; a dear friend, Joanne McGarvey of Lynn; several nieces and nephews, including Elaine and Robert Kuliga of New Bedford; and several cousins.
She was the sister of the late Domenica Vercellone.
Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Thursday at 10 AM at St. Francis of Assisi Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery. Vistation will be on Thursday morning 8:30-9:30AM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
