Filomena Ribeiro, 102, died at her home on Saturday Night after a period of failing health. She was the wife of the late Fernando Coelho. Born in Flores, Azores, Portugal, she came to the US in 1969 and settled in Stoughton. She was a homemaker. In her free time, she enjoyed gardening.
She is survived by her daughter Maria Livia Simas of Portugal and her son Jose Coelho of Stoughton. She is also survived by her grandchildren Cristina Simas, Richard Coelho and Joseph Coelho and one great grandson.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, December 12 at 8 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 9 AM.
