Obituary

Michael A. Pacillo passed away on December 8, 2007. He was 79 years old.

Born and raised in Everett, Michael was a longtime resident of Reading. He was a civil engineer for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for many years and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, Seabees unit during WWII. Michael loved spending time with his family and working in the yard. He also had a strong devotion to Padre Pio and St. Michael.

Michael was the devoted husband of Marilyn (Serra) Pacillo, his wife of 42 years. He was the son of the late Antonio and Michelina Pacillo and the beloved father of Marisa DeMarco and her husband Kristian of Reading, Marielle Agahigian and her husband Derek of Stoneham and Michele DeLuca and her husband Joseph of Winchester. He was the dear brother of Lucy Carpanella, Mildred Murphy, Gilda Tammaro, Dorothy DeVico, Josephine Hadge, Marji Bertone, Anthony Pacillo and the late Emma Bosco. Michael was the cherished grandfather of Dante, Dania and Deniro DeMarco, twins Michael and Anthony and twins Adriana and Mariana Agahigian, Talia, Maria and twins Tomaso and Michelina DeLuca. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Tuesday, December 11th at 9 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Anthony’s Church, 38 Oakes Street, Everett at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Monday, December 10th from 3-8 p.m. Interment Woodlawn Cemetery.
