Millbury- Margaret R. (Maciejka) Saunders, 99, of 312 Millbury Avenue, died Tuesday, Jan. 14, in Sunbridge for Millbury Nursing Center.
Her husband, Harold E. Saunders, died in 1980. She leaves two daughters, Virginia D. James of Shrewsbury and Loretta M. Williams of Holden; a brother, Francis Maciejka of Worcester; a sister, Genevieve Powers, of Worcester; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; nephews and nieces. A son, Robert F. Saunders, and a daughter, Marion E. Potenti, predeceased her. She was born in Wilno, Poland, daughter of William and Mary (Kulpasa) Maciejka and lived in Worcester most of her life, before moving here.
The funeral will be held Friday, Jan. 17, from Dirsa-Morin Funeral Home (www.worcesterfuneral.com), 298 Grafton Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 11 a.m. in St. John's Church, 40 Temple Street, Worcester. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Worcester. A calling hour will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. Friday, Jan. 17, in the funeral home.
