Domenic A. Lespasio, 91, of New Bedford, formerly of Malden, died Thursday December 6, 2007 at St. Luke's Hospital. He was the husband of the late Mary Lespasio.
Born in Boston, the son of the late Raphael and Rose (Musi) Lespasio, he lived in Malden for many years before moving to the New Bedford area several years ago.
Mr. Lespasio was formerly employed by the Massachusetts Department of Commerce until his retirement.
During World War II, he served in the U.S. Army and participated in the Battles of the Rhineland and Central Europe.
Survivors include a sister, Sr. Mary Rosita of Newton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was the brother of the late Marie Robdau, Thomas Lespasio, Michael Lespasio, John Lespasio, and Margaret Rudick.
His Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday at 11:30 AM at St. Julie Billiart Church, Dartmouth. Burial with military honors will follow in the Mass. National Cemetery, Bourne.
