Bridgewater-Alexandrino G. DaSilva, a 41 year resident of Bridgewater, died Wednesday at his home after a long illness. He was 88.
Born in Portugal, a son of the late Domingas and Guilhermina (Grenha) DaSilva.
He worked in the shipping department at the Foxboro Co. in East Bridgewater for 10 years.
He is survived by his wife, Maria (Almada); father of Aristides and Durval, both of Bridgewater, Antenor of Raynham and Domingas of Berkley; brother of Maria Grenha of Portugal. Also survived by 8 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Funeral from the Prophett Funeral Home, 98 Bedford St. (Rte. 18), Bridgewater, on Friday at 8:15 a.m. Followed by a funeral Mass in St. Thomas Aquinas Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be in St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. Visiting hours are on Thursday from 4-8 p.m.
