WILLIAM E. HALL, 72, a Hingham resident for the past 40 years, died on Tuesday, Dec. 4th at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth. Mr. Hall was born in Pittsburg, Pennsylvania and lived there and in New York and New Jersey before coming to Hingham. He was a graduate of Hamilton College in Clinton, New York and in the mid 1950's served in the United States Marine Corps. Mr. Hall was a sales representative in the fragrance and cosmetics industry for many years and was a past president of the New England Cosmetics Association.
He is survived by his wife, Inta Z. (Eglavs) Hall of Hingham; and was the father of Gregory G. Hall of Hingham, Gwendolyn I. Baldry and her husband Edwin of Cohasset and the late William E. Hall, Jr. He also leaves his grandchildren, Michael William Baldry and Daniel Evan Baldry both of Cohasset; his sister in law, Dagnija Eyles of Greenwich, CT, 3 nieces and 1 nephew.
A Funeral Service will be conducted on Saturday, Dec. 8th at 11 AM at the Downing Cottage Funeral Chapel, 21 Pond St., Hingham. Visiting hours and flowers omitted by request. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Brain Injury Association of Massachusetts, 30 Lyman St., Suite 10, Westborough, MA 01581.
The interment is to be private.
