Spiros G. Pantazi, 85, of Sherborn died on November 29, 2007 at the Briarwood Nursing Home in Needham.
Born in Johnstown, NY he had lived in Sherborn for 42 years. He served with the U.S. Army during WW II as a 2nd Lt. and was awarded a Purple Heart. He graduated from MIT in 1946. He was an architect with Goody & Clancy. An avid Ham Radio Operator, he enjoyed electronics and woodworking . Beloved husband for 58 years of Patricia (Holmes) Pantazi, he was the loving father of John C. Pantazi and his wife Beth of Dover and Paul P. Pantazi and his wife Mary Ellen of Taunton. Brother of Bessie Fletcher of Redding CT, Katherine Pascoe of Tucson, AZ and Gus Pantazi of Vancouver, WA. Dear grandfather of Nicholas Pantazi of Dover and Christopher Pantazi of Franklin.
