Obituary

Boylston—Armond P. Bogosian, 85, died Thursday, November 29, 2007, in UMass Memorial Medical Center – University Campus. His wife, Jennie A. (Zadroga) Bogosian, died in 1988. He leaves his children, Bruce Bogosian and his wife Maryann of Spring, TX; Bonnie Hunt and her husband James of Boylston; Brian Bogosian and his wife Patricia of Worcester; Wendy Aniconi and her husband Edward of Providence, RI; Bradford Bogosian and his fiancé Kim of Sterling; and Barry Bogosian and his wife Karen of Boylston; his brother, Owen Bogosian of Virginia; 16 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren.

He was born in Worcester, son of Joseph and Elizabeth (Toye) Bogosian. Armond served as a Radio Operator in the Army during World War II and fought in Rhineland and central Europe. He was wounded in action in Belgium and received the Purple Heart and a Bronze Star. Armond retired from Thompson Steel, Worcester. He was active at the Worcester Senior Center where he especially loved billiards and the “Pool Room.”

It was Armond’s request not to have any funeral services. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Boylston at the convenience of the family.
