Obituary

Richard A. DiTrapano Sr. passed away on November 28, 2007. He was 67 years old.

A resident of Malden, Richard had lived in Melrose for over 30 years. He worked as a computer operator in the billing department of the Mass General Hospital for 30 years.

Richard was married to Anna G. (DeLucia) DiTrapano, his beloved wife of 45 years. He was the loving father of Richard A. DiTrapano Jr. of Malden and Danielle DiTrapano of Melrose. He was the dear brother of Joseph DiTrapano and the late William, Arthur and Angelo DiTrapano and Mary Hackett and the cherished grandfather of Richard A. DiTrapano III, Olivia DiTrapano and Ashley N. Define.

The Funeral will be held from the A. J. Spadafora Funeral Home, 865 Main Street, Malden on Saturday, December 1st at 8:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, Herbert Street, Melrose at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours are Friday, November 30th from 4-8 p.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Richard’s memory may be made to the American Parkinson’s Disease Assoc., 715 Albany Street C329, Boston, MA 02118.
