Worcester—Antonette T. (Knight) Flagg, Clemons, 92 died Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at the Shrewsbury Nursing Home. She was born in Oxford, daughter of Edmond and Marie (Pariseau) Knight. She is survived by her daughter, Janice Jacobs (Carney), of Chattanooga, TN; and her daughter and son-in-law, Audrey and Raymond Starvaski, of Worcester. She was beloved Nana to 14 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren. She also leaves two much-loved nieces, her nephew, and several close friends. She was predeceased by her son and daughter-in-law, Harry and Bernice Flagg; her daughter, Wendy Esquer; two sisters, Helen Rice and Lyola Taylor; and her long-time companion, Emil Haddad. She worked for many years as cafeteria manager for the former Norton Company; upon retirement she managed the White House Donut Shop in Northborough with her son. Ann was an avid jazz fan. She loved to cook and she enjoyed reading. Her favorite pastime was spending time with her many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 1, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln Street, with a mass at 2:30 p.m. in St. Mary’s Roman Catholic Church, 18 Summer St., Shrewsbury. A calling hour will be held from 1-2 p.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Phillip’s Cemetery in Grafton at a later date.
