Methuen, Ma. – Rita Chamberlin, 92, died Thursday November 29, 2007 at the Nevins Nursing Home. She was born in Nashua, NH.,moved to Dumbarton, NH, and was employed at the Concord, NH State Hospital for 29 years. She had been a resident of Methuen for the past 20 years. She was a member of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish, and was active in the Rainbow Club and the Methuen Senior Center. She enjoyed line dancing, working in her flower garden and spending time with her family.
Rita was the widow of Wilmot Chamberlin.
Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law Roger and Marie of Methuen, one sister Irene Belanger of Nashua, NH, grandchildren Michelle Kelly and her husband John, Kenneth and his wife Cynthia, David and his wife Sylvie, and Joey and his wife Angela Chamberlin, 8 greatgrandchildren John Michael, Christopher, Corinne, Casey, Kylie, Emma, Ava,and Brianna.
A funeral Mass will take place on Monday morning at 11 a.m. in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/ St. Theresa Church 33 Plymouth Street Methuen, Ma. 01844 with burial to follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
Friends may call on Monday from 9-10:30 A.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc. 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
