Martha W. (Sassi) DelGreco, died Wednesday November 28th in the South Shore Hospital, after a period of failing health.
Born in Milford, NH, a resident of Quincy for many years until, moving to Largo, Florida in 1977.She was the wife of the late Rocco DelGreco.
Martha was a dietician at the Quincy City Hospital for 15 years.
She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren, with whom she did puzzles with, also enjoyed cooking, gardening and the Red Sox.
She is survived by her sons, Lawrence DelGreco and his wife Marie of Whitman, Joseph DelGreco and his wife Jeannie of Quincy, her sister Mary Valorz of Virginia, her grandchildren Lisa Grien of Brockton, Kelly DeSantes of Scituate and her great grandchildren, Domenic and Rocco Desantes of Scituate and Martina Grein of Brockton, several nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late Angelo, William and Margaret Sassi.
Her funeral will be held Friday November 30th @ 7:00 PM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel Plymouth Street (Rte 58 @ the rotary circle) Whitman. Burial will be at a late date in Florida. Calling hours will be held two hours prior to the service from 5:00-7:00 PM.
