Obituary

Paul A. Miller 79, of 461 S. Forest Dr. Chandler, AZ died November 14, 2007 at home. He was the husband for 53 years of Rejeanne (Dutremble) Miller. Mr. Miller lived in N. Smithfield for thirty five years before moving to Arizona after his retirement in 1992.
He was born in Allentown, PA a son of the late Paul A. and Bertha (Kimmel) Miller. Mr. Miller was a power plant engineer for Norfolk Prison for fifteen years before retiring in 1992. He had also previously worked for J & J Corrugated Box, American Felt, Quincy Dye, and Drapers for many years. Mr. Miller was a Navy Veteran and served during the Korean War.
He was a lifetime member of the VFW Post #3632 and the Elks Lodge in Tempee AZ. He was an avid golfer and former member of the Country View Golf Club in Burrillville, and a member and past treasurer of the N. Smithfield Hockey Assoc.

Besides his wife he leaves two sons, David P. Miller of Pawtucket, and John C. Miller of NH, a daughter Louise K. Beauregard of Woonsocket, six grandchildren, Christopher L., Michael J., and Kathleen D. Beauregard, Angela M., Nicole E., and Kathryn R. Miller, and two great grandsons. He was also the brother of the late Richard and Robert Miller, Betty Herman, and Dolores Santos.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11:00 am. in St. John’s Church in Slatersville. In lieu of flowers donations to Hospice of the Valley, 1510 East Flower St., Phoenix, AZ 85014 in his memory would be appreciated. Arrangements are under the direction of the Fournier & Fournier Funeral Home.
