Jeannette I. (Corcoran) Rondeau, age 81, of Lowell, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2007 at Saints Medical Center in Lowell after a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Roland J. Rondeau who passed away on Oct. 15, 1998.
Born in Lowell on Dec. 7, 1925, the daughter of the late Albert and Irene (Thibeault) Corcoran, she received her education through Lowell schools.
Mrs. Rondeau was a communicant of Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Parish in Dracut and the former Ste. Jeanne d'Arc Parish. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Gloria D. and Roger Geoffroy of Lowell; her son, Norman R. Rondeau of Lowell; her daughters-in-law, Celine (Bergeron) Rondeau of Lowell and Judith L. (Matte) Rondeau of Manchester, NH; two sisters, Theresa Belanger and Eugenie Corcoran, both of Lowell; a sister-in-law, Alice Corcoran of Lowell; her granddaughters, Stephanie Reuling and her husband Jason, Michelle Rondeau, Marcie Rondeau, Carrie Holland and her husband Michael, Nicole Rondeau and Brenda Rondeau; her grandsons, Michael Geoffroy and his wife Darleen, Steven Rondeau and Scott Rondeau; three great grandsons, Nicholas and Nathan Geoffroy and Jacob Reuling; also many nieces and nephews. She was also the mother of the late Maurice Rondeau who died in 1996, and sister of the late Joseph, Eugene, Leo, Wilfred, Robert and Estelle Corcoran.
Relatives and friends may call at the M. R. LAURIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 295 Pawtucket St., Lowell on Thursday, Nov. 29 from 4 to 8pm. Funeral Friday morning with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 9 o'clock at Ste. Marguerite D'Youville Church. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA Hospice of Greater Lowell, P.O. Box 1965, Lowell, MA 01853.
